Create Web Notes with Microsoft Edge

Microsoft Edge integrates a small feature allowing you to take notes while browsing the web.

Create a web note

You can create a note from any webpage by clicking on the Make a Web Note button and then use tools at your disposal to edit it:

Use the Pen tool for some free-hand writing or drawing:

The Marker tool allows you to highlight content:

Use the Eraser tool to clear the modifications brought to the note:

The Square speech bubble button allows you to add text notes/comments:

And finally, you have the Clipping tool to remove unwanted portions of the note:

Save or share your notes

Once you have created your note, click on the Save button and choose how you want to save it (One Note, Add to Favorites, Reading List...):

Alternatively you can click on the Share button to share it with other apps (installed on your computer) such as Evernote or Mail.
