How to Uninstall Adobe Flash Player

As we have already spoken about in this article, Adobe Flash player support ended on the 31st December, 2020, and Adobe began blocking Flash content from running in Flash Player as of January 12, 2021. This EOL (End of Life) date effectively kills Adobe Flash Player. It is now recommended that you remove Adobe Flash Player from your computer as soon as possible. This article will explain how to uninstall Flash Player for both PC and Mac.

Why Uninstall Adobe Flash Player?

You can keep Flash Player on your system if you want, and it will remain there unless you uninstall it. Adobe recommends that you remove it as it will help secure your system, considering the fact that Adobe does not plan on updating Flash Player any more, or adding security patches after the 31st December 2020. This effectively makes Flash Player a security risk for your device. After the 12th January, 2021, Flash Player will be disabled on most sites and replaced with HTML5.
