I want to know how to print PDF files on Mac OSX, is there a tool needed to do this?

Solution

I do not use any tools other than that which is standard in Mac OS X:

1) For any file you do "print"

2) You click on "PDF" lower left, choosing any option

3) You decide where to save your file.

Then re-opening your ***. pdf file (with default preview):

You re-recorded "save as" possibly choosing Quartz filter " Reduce file size "
